After leaving Perth we were once again on our way North this time to Aberdeen for another joint meeting with almost all of the Aberdeen and surrounding clubs represented. Once again we were privileged to be given another Civic Reception and welcomed to the city by Lord Provosts representative Councilor Jennifer Stewart. The venue was the Northern Hotel which is one of the original 1920 art deco buildings in Aberdeen and is host to two clubs St Machar and St Nicholas much of the existing art deco features still remain. It was a superb evening with a totally amazing turn out from all of the clubs, a fitting send off for Ian and Joan.
